No matter where your loved ones are staying we provide quality care that meets their specific needs. Whether they’re having scheduled in-home routine hospice care, getting care at a nursing home, other live-in or assisted living facility we believe the patient should feel they are at home. When it becomes difficult to control a patient’s illness or symptoms through regularly scheduled visits we can adapt our care plan to provide short-term continuous care within their home. In the case that symptoms can’t be properly managed elsewhere we can provide general inpatient care. This allows our hospice patients to continue getting extensive hospice care while staying at a nursing facility or hospital. Even in these cases we work towards getting patients stabilized so their care can be resumed at their home.

In some hospice situations families may need to briefly step back from being the primary caregivers in order to attend an event or an obligation out of town, or even if they need time to rest. In these cases our team is able to provide respite care in which we come to either the nursing facility, inpatient unit, or patient’s residence to provide full care for 1-5 days. While in many situations the family is able to provide a portion of the patient’s care, having temporary 24-hour hospice care can provide substantial momentary relief. A less known form of hospice care that we offer is palliative care. Palliative care focuses on improving comfort, quality of life, and generally improving a patient’s day-to-day.

Because we are locally owned, high priority situations can be addressed and answers provided within a short timeframe. Having an excellent patient-to-staff ratio means we are able to devote more time to each patient and provide the level of care each individual requires, keep open communication with the families of our patients, and maintain quality care no matter what the situation may bring. Even if your loved one is spending time in a long-term care facility, or senior living facility we will provide the same quality of care they would get in their own homes.
